OKTE, a.s. is a Clearing Agent pursuant to § 37 section 4 letter b) of the Act No. 251/2012 Coll. on energy and on alteration and amendment to certain laws (The Act on Energy sector). Clearing Agent operates according to the Act on Energy sector, the Act No. 250/2012 Coll. on Regulation of Network Industries (The Act on Regulation), the Ordinance of the Regulatory Office for Network Industries No. 207/2023 Coll. determining the internal electricity market rules and internal gas market rules (Market Rules) and the Operation Order OKTE, a.s. (Operation Order). Business activity listed above is regulated and is liable to price regulation of the Regulatory Office for Network Industries.
The Clearing Agent operates according to the valid Agreement on Settlement of Imbalances with the Subjects of Settlement. Clearing of imbalances is based on data provided by electricity market participants in order to clearing and settlement of imbalances payments. The Clearing Agent evaluates the settlement of imbalances for subjects of settlement in quarter-hour quotation of trading hour with supporting seven days registration of daily diagrams, as required by Market Rules.

• Evaluation, clearing and settlement of imbalances,
• Evaluation, clearing and settlement of differences,
• Clearing and settlement of regulation electricity,
• Data publishing.
